What can I expect from my first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to discuss what has brought you to therapy, understand your current concerns, and identify what you would like to work towards. We will also discuss how therapy works and develop an approach appropriate to your needs.

What is PMB (Prescribed Minimum Benefits)?

Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs) are a set of medical conditions and healthcare services that South African medical schemes are required by law to cover, subject to the applicable rules and requirements. Certain mental health conditions may qualify for PMB cover.

Do you accept medical aid, and what are your fees?

I work with most South African medical aid schemes, subject to your specific plan's benefits and available mental health cover. Please check with your medical aid regarding your available benefits and whether pre-authorisation is required. My private cash fee is R980 for a 60-minute session.

Do you work with children and teenagers?

My practice is focused exclusively on adults aged 18 years and older. I provide psychological services to adults experiencing a range of emotional, personal, relational, and psychological challenges.
If you are looking for psychological support for someone under the age of 18, I recommend consulting a psychologist who specialises in working with children and adolescents.
